The only way to see and understand Beijing China is with a private tour guide. I am very experienced and knowledgeable in the sites of Beijing. I will cater your tour to what you want. Maybe include some shopping with the tour? Myself and our driver will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel so you can sit back relax and let me show you all Beijing has to offer.
I was given a private tour of the Long Di Superior Jade Factory in Beijing, China. I got to see the factory workers carve and polish jade, and was shown jade in its natural form, as part of stone. I was also shown how to tell if Jade is genuine or not. Jade is expensive-one piece I was looking at was selling for $25,000 USD.

My Beijing guide Sam gave me a tour of Tiananmen Square, the third largest square in the world, which can hold 600,000 people. It was the site of Chairman Mao's famous speech in 1949 announcing the creation of the People's Republic of China. It was also the site of the 1989 pro-democracy protests where many civilians were killed. The Square features the Tiananmen Gate (entrance to Forbidden City), National Museum of China, Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, Great Hall of the People, and the Monument to the People's Heroes.
My Beijing guide Sam gave me a private tour of The Forbidden City, which was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. "Forbidden", referred to the fact that no-one could enter or leave the palace without the emperor's permission. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers7,800,000 sq ft (720,000 square meters). The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world. Since 1925, the Forbidden City has been under the charge of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collecti...
Filmed on Nikon D5500 and Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens. Once we arrived in Singapore from our Silkair flight, we decided to go to the Private Room to enjoy some dinner and champagne. When we got there, we realized we were the only ones in the lounge so we had lots of attention, and got to really try out the menu. The food in the Private Room is always beautiful presented. I actually think Cathay Pacific The Pier has a better restaurant. Nevertheless, free dinner and champagne is always good. We returned the next morning for breakfast which tasted much better compared to the dinner menu. Either way, we were excited to be onboard this 5 hour journey to Beijing. Since it was a day time flight and less than 9 hours, we did not receive the beautiful and luxurious Salvatore Ferrigamo amenity kit. I a...
Mandarin/Nat Private charity homes for the handicapped are starting to emerge in China to compensate for a shortfall in government-funded centres. Places are filled quickly, with a register of more than ten (m) million children with disabilities. Medical specialist Li Qiucun who's set up a private charity centre in Beijing is appealing for more government help. For the children of Qiucun Charity Centre it's a big day. Parents and guests have arrived for a special performance - a chance for the children to show how much they've learnt. But it's also an exhibition of sorts, to promote the successes being achieved in this privately run care centre. UPSOUND: Children singing. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is the main architecture of the Temple of Heaven complex in Beijing, China. It was built during the reign of Emperor Yongle (1420) of the Ming Dynasty and first called the Great Hall for Sacrificial Rituals. In 1753, Emperor Qianlong renamed it the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The Hall burned down in 1889 and was rebuilt soon after. It was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would worship the god of heaven and pray for good harvest.
